The Casino Academy has recently revamped its educational programs to enhance the professionalism of the casino industry and create a healthy gaming environment. This initiative follows the recognition that the casino industry requires highly skilled professionals as a core sector of the tourism industry, rather than mere entertainment.
Objectives and Direction of Professional Training
The Casino Academy's curriculum reform centers on the accurate delivery of game rules and education on gambling addiction prevention. Students learn the rules of major games such as baccarat and blackjack while studying the probabilistic nature of each game and the principles of responsible gambling. Notably, this course strictly excludes unscientific and risky information, such as 'winning strategies,' and focuses on emphasizing professional ethics and customer service manuals required in the field. This is considered an essential process for casinos to function as sound tourism and leisure facilities.
